Let your child become a Filmmaker at the CIFF kids workshop

We are excited to invite your child to a special Kids Only Workshop at the 12th Edition of the Curaçao International Film Festival!

This year’s theme is “Volunteer”, and children will explore this inspiring topic by creating their very own stop-motion film—just like real filmmakers!

 Who: Kids ages 6–15
 Date: Sunday April 19th, 2026
 Time: 10.00 AM – 12.00 PM
 Location: Renaissance ballroom A&B.

 What will your child do?

During this hands-on experience, kids will:

•  Learn the basics of stop-motion animation
•  Create their own short film in teams
•  Develop a story about helping others and making a difference
•  Use creative materials 
•  Work together in small groups 

The workshop starts with a fun and inspiring session led by Armand Hellement, followed by a scriptwriting activity and a guided filming session.
