Left-Handed Girl

Left-Handed Girl

Told through the eyes of 5-year-old I-Jing, a left-handed girl who moves to Taipei with her family, the film explores cultural taboos around the left hand. Believing she has dark powers, I-Jing begins shoplifting to help her struggling mother. Shot entirely on iPhones, it’s a raw and emotional story about family, resilience, and the challenges faced by women in a traditional society.
